Tikva’s disabled adults had a rare chance to escape their inner-city environs and enjoy the fresh Spring air over three consecutive off-school days. The highlight was a day in Diggerland, a real thriller where their dreams of driving their own car or tractor actually came true, giving them a real feeling of joy and pride senses of importance. Next was a day of hiking and boating in Victoria Park, a splash of fun for everyone. Lastly, they fell in love with nature at the exciting Woburn Safari Park experience where they came face-to-face with the biggest beasts of the animal kingdom and watched animal-style talent shows. They even got to touch and feel some animals, which was especially therapeutic for them. All in all, a very successful start to the summer.
